Bennie was born in Kempton Park and matriculated at Paul Roos Gymnasium. He obtained his B.A.LL.B. Degree at the University of Stellenbosch, after which he joined the Department of Justice as Prosecutor in the Magistrate’s and Regional Courts.

Bennie joined the firm in 1996 as a Candidate Attorney and on his admission as an Attorney in 1998 he became a Professional Assistant. He was appointed as a Director on 1 April 2002.

Bennie is based at the Tyger Valley branch in the commercial and conveyancing department and specialises in all aspects of conveyancing, property developments, registration of bonds, estate transfers, commercial law and law of contracts.

Bennie is a keen golfer and cyclist.
